Paperfashion Class

I'm back!

I've been working a lot blah blah blah... the usual, finally got time to post.
This past two weeks I've been taking this online class from skillshare and I've been honored to have Katie Rodgers from Paperfashion as my teacher.
Here is my "final" (never got to finish it) work.

Eyeliner: Cat Eye

You've seen it, everyone is wearing it, it's the new trend and you can't avoid it. Yes, I'm talking about the "Cat Eye"! When this trend first started it reminded me of the abhorred "chonga" eye makeup, but then I started to fall for it and now I have a love/hate situation with it. It's so awesome and gives an excellent final touch but I hate the fact that everyone is wearing it. Some people have added the extra wing starting from the lower eyelid and others adding 2 wings instead of one, but it doesn't look good on me that way: I'll pass.

I had a shortage on drawing supplies so I ended up using my MAC Liquidlast Liner for the drawing's cat eye. How ironic, right?

Here is my review on some products I've used and which ones have worked for me to make that cat eye come to life! I have normal-oily skin so I guess this recomendations will work for most of you.

MAC Smolder

This product is not ideal for the cat eye, I don't know what was I thinking when I bought it! It obviously says smolder, it's great for smokey eyes. It easily blends with skin and whatever eye shadow you want to blend it in with. I don't recommend it as a long lasting make up at all, wipes off easily.

MAC Liquidlast Liner

It works perfectly for cat eye and any other make up that needs precision and a vibrant color, it does it's job as a long lasting makeup and it wont even go away with water. But it's so hard to put it on!!! I haven't mastered that little brush just yet, but when I have it on the make up looks somewhat polished and well done. It's not an everyday product since it's so hard to remove. Working so hard to remove it everyday might damage your skin and add some wrinkles! So, it's better to use it ocasionally or for special ocasions.

AVON Glimmersticks

This eyeliner works decently on the waterline area. It doesn't wipe off that easily but it's the kind of makeup you would like to re-touch after 5 hours. It's not that great, it just does the job but could be better.

L'OrĂ©al  Paris Infallible Eyeliner

Love, love, love this product so so much!!! It works perfectly.  It stays on, easy to remove and gives a rich black color. It's the kind of product you don't have to be checking on every hour just to re-touch. I highly recommend it for everyday use.

Art Deco Long Lasting Liner

I love to apply this liner almost everyday. What I like about this product the most it's that It is so easy to apply. It looks like a regular marker which is kind of weird, but work just fine. The con is that you have to check every once in a while because the black richness' tends to go away a little bit so you would like to re-touch that. But its easy to apply and easy to remove at the end of the day.

That's all for today, hope all this information has been of great help! Which products work best for you? Would love to hear of other products.
